Friends have called me an everyman because it's hard to find just one area where I fit in completely. I've been into computers and the outdoors most of my life. I'm a photography enthusiast who loves taking scenic, event, and concert pictures as well as pictures at science-fiction and anime conventions. I've expanded my equipment and portfolio with the aim to develop my photography into a side-business. (Pun not intended, but please enjoy it all the same.) I don't go to clubs or bars much, and there aren't many women in electrical engineering field, so I tough to give online dating a chance.

- I have a ~50lb dog that makes me so happy and is a great running companion, alarm system and a malfunctioning alarm clock (4am...)

- While visiting family and friends in Israel, I really like tagging along a large rollerblading group that tours the streets of Tel-Aviv on wednesday and friday evenings. Similarly I bike Critical Mass when I'm in Atlanta the last friday of every month.

You combed the profiles like a kid in an ice cream store picking one of fifty flavors, and you picked some dude whom you thought looked really nice, together, and maybe even interesting, and it wasn't me. My profile might have looked good too, but there's so many to choose from, and you didn't know better, so you picked a different one. You meet your chosen fellow only to find that online profile pics can be deceiving. However, you're more driven by personality anyway, so you give Mister Phony Pic a chance to win you over with his charm. You go out for a nice dinner only to find out at the end that you're paying for it. You listen as he complains about his past girlfriends, talks about his needs, and brags about a bunch of inane things. You wonder when he'll get around to you. You wonder how much time you have to spend with him before he complains about you too.

I love old movies, cartoons, video games and philosophy; An odd, but fun mix!. I am fairly "straight-edge" and like it that way. I don't smoke at all or drink to points of vomit as seems to be so common of others my age. I get along easily with nearly anybody that can be gotten along with. Hey I'm Lesly! New Orleans born and raised. I moved to Atlanta about a year ago to transfer colleges. Sometimes I'm a complex girl, but if someone could tell me how I am, in 5 minutes, I think that would be boring right? I love staying productive, and without art,frankly I'm quite bored. I'm originally from Michigan, have lived in Atlanta since Sept 2007. I have a silly sarcastic sense of humor. Stay active, am always up for an adventure, love to travel. I love spontanenaity and adventure, yet still have my routines. I love exploring and doing the whole self-discovery thing. I like being serious when it's appropriate and being fun the rest of the time.

The Prophet and The Alchemist are two of my favorite books. When I read those I always picture a place somewhere in North Africa or Southern Spain, along the coast of the Mediterranean walking through areas with rich Moorish architecture. And then I imagine sitting down with some delicately brewed tea poured from an elaborately patterned tea kettle made of silver with the sound of an armenian duduk playing in the background.

(Okay, if you don't know what an armenian duduk is, it's a wind instrument associated with the near east that is now becoming really popular in Hollywood. Go check out Azam Ali's first track on "Portals of Grace" and you will know what I'm talking about.) I'm really big into music that sets emotion and stirs the soul.

Right now I'm reading "A Small Treatise on the Great Virtues" and think it's one of the best things I've read in awhile. It's really helping me take an in-depth exploration on what it means to be a solid person.

I don't think of myself as conventional. I think that my biggest passion in life is to create or communicate that which really moves individuals at their depths. I love to help others find their true and deepest purpose, whatever that may be.

I also love to entertain and see people light up with joy and exitement. There is certainly more depth and breadth to the world that continues to amaze me. I will never forget plodding through the sands of Egypt or walking through temples in India. And I will relish poring over the treasures in Paris or having a drink in Munich. There is so much to see, do and experience.

I love to get out and do things. Like going to festivals, bars, sporting events, etc. I also love running, backpacking (even though I don't get to do it much!!), canoeing,...basically anything outside. I'm introverted, but not in a social anxiety sort of way; I get along well with pretty much everyone. I just really like living by myself. I enjoy having people over, or going out to spend time with my friends, but I equally enjoy having my solitude. My MBTI type is INTJ, just in case you're interested in such things. Introversion probably plays into (or is the cause of) my computer geekery, though I do unplug as often as I can to get out and practice photography, which is my main creative outlet / hobby. I think that introversion probably plays into my sense of humor: I have a dry (though not necessarily quick) wit. It doesn't hurt that I was also exposed every summer to a steady diet of Britcoms by my UK born grandmother.

I'm Canadian and have been living in the Atlanta area for a long time now. I've acclimated to the heat down here as much as I think I'm going to, but I still find summers here to be pretty brutal. On top of that I've lost a lot of my resistance to cold, at least from my perspective.

Politically I consider myself to be a libertarian, though you should note the small L there. I'm not a member of that political party: I find there are too many in it that have joined, at heart, because they're dissatisfied with their previous party and not because they find something worthwhile and good in libertarian concepts. Not that it matters much for me anyway since I can't vote, being Canadian and all.

In relationship matters, I'm polyamorous. I chose "single" as my status here mostly because I didn't like the other options. I've got one relationship that's been going on for well over a decade, but I'm open to possibilities. Note that my "looking for" status is set to Friends or Activity Partners, since that's what's true. I'm not actively looking for anything beyond that, but if something good develops beyond those two things, I think that's cool.

I am a 25 year old "yankee" turned "southern belle" currently in college. I think people would probably most describe me as pretty down to earth. I am just your run of the mill MUSIC geek. I try to be open minded and all that good stuff. I went to Chattahoochee Tech and got my AA in Entertainment Technology. Life been crazy thanks to this economy the lovely Bush left us and other unforeseen circumstances. I hope to finish updating soon to explain some of these things and after reading my own profile and realized how much I suck at accurately portraying myself in any written form.

I'm a laid back take it easy kind of guy. I just try to take life as it comes at me and make the most of what I can. I am very young at heart and hope that never changes It's fun being a big kid sometimes. I am very open minded but can be very stubborn and picky about certain things. I am reserved when meeting new people. I am very shy at first but after I get comfortable then the crazy fun starts to come out. I actually like women to approach me, lets me know they have an aggressive side. I am a mix of sweet and sarcastic, If you can't taker a joke chances are I'll piss you off. I love to chill and listen to music. I appreciate art in many forms. I am a gamer mostly MMOs and RPGs, my current game of choice is World of Warcraft, omg geek alert ya so...I also have subscriptions to Discovery and Scientific American magazines. I cant' spell for s**t spell check it a wonderful thing, thou sometimes it does not have a clue what I'm trying to spell, but once I see it spelled correctly I go "oh yeah that looks right". I like to get out in nature go camping hiking ect. I love to travel and want to travel as much as I can. Right now Iâ??m working 3rd shift so I sleep at odd times. I'm a pretty chill type of guy but I'm also one of a kind. I have tattoos and crazy hair(spikes everywhere), I do what I want to a certain degree.I'm funny and enjoy life. I always like to have a good time but I can also just chill at the house too. I think outside the box and I'm deeper than a kiddie pool. I'm full blooded Irish so know I have that irish touch, and everynight is gonna be fun. I've got a crazy side that comes out and gets interesting. Well, lets see here. I like being outdoors, playing on the lake, wandering in a park, tossin around a frisbee, finding random trails, looking at the stars, pretty much anything outdoors is good for me. Music is my life force. It's like a form of oxygen as far as I am concerned. I'm usually out at a show or festival, promoting for a show, getting ready for a show, or making a show in my living room (and I don't mean that kind of show). I have musicians for friends and we spend a lot of time just hanging out and playing music. Yeah, you might even call me a hippie, but for the record, I do smell quite nice and only have that patchouli stench for the short period of time after the incense has burned. I love meeting new people, THUNDERSTORMS, drives with no destination, vacations with no purpose, singing like no one is listening, making you laugh, and a plethora of others fabulous things which you will come to know in time. Life in my world is really easy going and I want people around that are just as easy going. No Drama, just good times. Due to this, I am known for having/throwing bad ass parties. In general, I tend to be loud and usually in the center of things. I went to a Violent Fems Concert when I was 16 and got too close to one of the speakers. My ears rang for two days, and when it quit, my left ear wasn't what it used to be. So, basically, I'm half deaf and I have no idea how loud I am. You just have to tell me to turn down my volume sometimes, it works, promise!! I like spiders. Weird huh?? I don't have a pet tarantula or anything like that.... I just happen to not want to smash a beautiful creature just because it happens to have more legs than I do and crawled in my path. I'd rather just pick em up and put them out of the way. Geesh... i feel like I have been talking about myself forever. Which seems kind of pointless..... I mean really... if you want to get to know someone, is reading what they think of themselves really the way to do it?? I wonder if theses things would be more accurate if your best friend wrote them?? Wow, went on a tangent there huh?? Ok... I am obviously losing focus.... let's get back on track here.... now, where were we?? ...... Oh, spiders, yes.... Now I just kind of felt like the narrator from The Princess Bride (one of my favorite movies by the way, a little guilty pleasure if you will) Yep, it's official... I am a recent graduate from Ball State and am biding my time before I start school again. I like sports, music, and having fun. I also enjoy being outdoors. I tend to be shy when I first meet people but i tend to warm up pretty fast.

Hey my name is Paul and I live in the Buckhead area. I love trying new things and being exposed to new cultures. Riding motorcycles is my passion.

I've spent most of my life adapting to change. By the time I was 18, I'd lived in 4 countries over 3 continents, spoke 4 languages, and went to half a dozen schools. I got to a point where packing up my room was a very natural thing, and moving into a new house was as exciting as opening fresh presents.

Adventure drives me - life's too short to expect opportunities to come about again, so why settle for anything less? As best I can, I follow the Robert Heinlein approach to life and love. That said, I've yet to find some type of food that I can't enjoy, a place I won't visit, or an experience that I can't find some sort of intrinsic beauty in, flaws and all. I take as much pride in my successes as in my failures, and make a point to grow from both.
